Black Book Finance completes £13.6m loan with Shawbrook

Via Specialist Finance Introducer – 3rd October 2017: Black Book Finance has completed a development finance transaction for £13.6m with Shawbrook Bank.

The transaction was for the purchase of an office block with consent to be converted into 74 residential units. Shawbrook agreed a dual facility, with the first tranche based on the current consent and further funds to be drawn on receipt of the revised consent, and the funding was completed in six weeks from application. Williams brings 13 years of experience in high performance sales, initially in banking, where he specialised in lending for Natwest – winning their ‘South West Sales Award’ three years in a row, and was fast-tracked into their ‘Future Leaders Programme’.

Black Book Finance adds to commercial teamVia Best Advice  – 04th May 2017: Black Book Finance has appointed Bridget Kibiru to the position of commercial finance executive. Kibiru (pictured) has 12 years of experience in specialist lending and joins the financial distributor from The Loans Engine.

Her most recent role was as intermediary sales manager, dealing with both intermediaries and the company’s high net worth clients, and she also served as packaging manager for several years.

Octopus Property completes £6.4m with Black Book Finance

Via Specialist Finance Introducer  – 19th April 2017: Octopus Property has completed £6.4m of loans with new distributor Black Book Finance within a single working week. The range of loans were secured against four assets and included an acquisition bridge loan to support a purchase in Woolwich and a refinancing in Wimbledon.

Via Mortgage Introducer  – 14th March 2017: Black Book Finance completes £1m with Castle Trust three months after its launch. The loans completed with Castle Trust included a second charge mortgage of £500,000 for business purposes and the urgent refinancing of a £500,000 second charge bridge which was completed within 28 working days.
